seems a contradiction but it really is not.
From time immemorial, the great heads of state have always wanted to believe that wars were made in the name of ideals, colonial expansion, for money, for political reasons of questionable sanity, for pure spirit of competition, raw materials (as may be oil, but also drugs). The press officers have always kept in the dark but in fact the cause of every war has always been a pussy.
